Kiana Laguna

Kiana Laguna is an emerging artist based on Ngunnawal and Ngambri land. Kiana graduated from the Australian National University in 2024, with degrees in International Relations and Visual Arts, and completed his honours year in 2025.

Kiana’s draws from personal history and relationships to create distorted fantastical works which toe the line between the dreamy and the off-putting. Kiana reconstructs memories and recontextualises them into dreamlike images that invoke concepts of fantasy, narrative, and sainthood. Kiana’s current projects involve explorations of psychological dissociation through horror narrative.
